This Flight Night begins on Wednesday January 20th, and the wines and their tapas will be available until January 26th.
First, SOHO will pour a Beckmen Vineyards Cuvee Le Bec 2018 from Santa Ynez, CA.
“Aromas of maraschino cherries, licorice, and fresh wild herbs. The earthy mouthfeel is complemented by flavors of ripe blueberries, jammy red cherries, and juicy blackberries.”
The second wine is a Cass Wines G.S.M Estate Grown 2016 from Pasa Robles, CA. The wine is described by the winemaker,
“Enjoyable, straightforward notes of ripe cherries and blackberry fruits, subtle spice and underbrush, medium body, and supple texture.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Domaine Leface, Cotes du Roussillon Tessellae Old Vines 2017 from Languedoc/Roussillon. Notes on the wine,
“Blackberries, kirsch, spice, incense, dried flowers, and baking spice notes all flow to a full-bodied, gorgeously texture effort. It’s another gem from this team.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
