This Flight Night begins on Wednesday February 17th, and the wines and their tapas will be available until February 23rd.
First, SOHO will pour a Palladino Barbera D’Alba from Piedmonte, Italy.
“Intense ruby red with delicate violet hues. Dry, delicate, and pleasantly almondy. With a good alcohol content, and moderate acidity. It’s well balanced and harmonious, easy to approach.”
The second wine is a Papale Primitivo di Manduria 2016 from Pulgia, Italy. The wine is described by the winemaker,
“Its color is intense ruby red with beautiful violet hues, the rich aromas reference fruit jam, black current, blackberries, cherries, cocoa, and licorice. Its taste is round and soft, with long-lasting aromatic finish.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Castello Banfi Chianti Classico Reserva 2017 from Tuscany, Italy. Notes on the wine,
“Deep ruby red color with rich notes of cherries, plums. The taste is of deep cherry and leather flavors, with subtle wood notes. Supple tannins, lingering acidity, and good finish. ”
