This Flight Night begins on Wednesday February 24th, and the wines and their tapas will be available until March 2nd.
First, SOHO will pour a Remo Farina Ripasso 2017 from Basilicata, Italy.
“A dark ruby-red color, with the fragrance of pepper, fruit marmalade (cherries, prunes) and spices, licorice and ginger. Excellent with roasted meats and cheeses.“
The second wine is a Vigneti del Vulture ‘Pipoli’ Aglianico del Vulture 2019 from Pulgia, Italy. The wine is described by the winemaker,
“This Aglianico has an intense scent with notes of black cherries, herbs and a touch of vanilla from the ageing in used barriques. The powerful body is supported by fine tannins, the wine ends long and very harmonious.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Fattoria del Cerro ‘Antica Chiusina’ Vino Nobile di Multepulciano 2018 from Tuscany, Italy. Notes on the wine,
“Black and red little fruits at the nose with mineral hints. Elegant and powerful at the palate with a long lasting finish. Ideal with roasted red meats, roast game, stewed beef.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

Vigneti del Vuture ‘Pipoli’ Aglianico del Vulture 2019
