Three spectacular reds will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, April 19.

Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta

First, SOHO will pour a 2019 Bodegas Familia Schroeder Saurus Select Pinot Noir from Patagonia, Argentina.

“Bright red tones. Plenty of ïŹ‚oral aromas, like roses and violets, combined with red fruit scents such as red currants, raspberries and strawberries. Mushrooms and mineral aromas stand out together with some vanilla and cocoa notes, due to aging in oak barrels. Medium-bodied red, of ultraïŹne tannins and fruity nuances that wave through a ïŹnish of superior depth and dimension”

The second wine is a 2018 Cuvelier Los Andes Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina.

“Bright medium ruby. Vibrant, penetrating aromas of blackberry, black cherry, violet and bitter chocolate; an essence of Malbec. Dense and seamless but youthful and light on its feet, showing lovely restrained sweetness but noteworthy thickness and depth to its pure, vibrant fla-vors of crushed dark berries and bitter chocolate. “

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Parducci True Grit Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Mendocino, California.

“A very intense and beautiful violet red color. The aromas are very complex with mineral, ripe red fruits, plums and floral notes. A very good intensity. There is a very good entry on the palate with a sweet sensation. Velvety with an excellent body and a pleasant and long finish. Very balanced.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2019 Bodegas Familia Schroeder Saurus Select Pinot Noir
Appellation : Patagonia, Argentina
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Paired with: Garlic Shrimp Skewers, Saffron Rice

2018 Cuvelier Los Andes Malbec
Appellation : Mendoza, Argentina
Varietal: Malbec
Paired with: BBQ Sirloin, Chimichurri Sauce

2019 Parducci True Grit Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Appellation : Mendocino, California
Varietal : Cabernet Sauvignon
Paired with: Grilled Quail, Mushroom Demi

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $15. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $21. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $16. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($10/glass and $8/tapas)

Can’t make it to Flight Night on Wednesday? No worries! While our pairings debut on Wednesdays, they’re available through the following Tuesday, so you have all week to catch up on the featured wines and tapas.

We can’t wait to see you!
