Three fabulous Mediterranean wines will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, June 28.
Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta
First, SOHO will pour a Palivou Vineyards Anemos Dry White from Peloponnese, Greece.
“A fruity wine with aromas and flavors of fresh fruits: apples, pears, pineapple, and lemon blossoms and a hint of white pepper. The Moschofilero offers the aromatics and the Roditis the crispness.”
The second wine is a Casa Ferreirinha Papa Figos from Douro, Portgual.
“A citrine color with greenish tones. This wine has good intensity and complexity with prominent aromas of honey suckle and white fruits, hints of citrus fruits, and a touch of minerality. On the palate, this wine has great freshness, which is conferred by a balanced acidity; it has good volume and further citrus aromas, with hints of asparagus, that invite a long and elegant finish.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Markovitis Winery Xinomavro from Naoussa, Greece.
“Cola, red-cherry and red-currant aromas are touched with a slightly medicinal spin on this plucky red. The mineral-driven flavors of dried cherry, cedar and spice pack a punch.”
