It’s your favorite time of the week: FLIGHT NIGHT!🍷We are continuing our love affair with Italy, its stunning wines, and our Chef’s delicious paired tapas with an all new lineup this week! We look forward to seeing you tonight in Vinings at 5:30….
This Flight Night begins on Wednesday February 12th, and the wines and their tapas will be available through February 18th.
First, SOHO will pour a Campi Nuovi Montecucco Rosso 2018 from Alto Adige. The winemaker offers,
“Deep ruby red color. Nose of intense wild cherry and ripe dark fruits. Taste is soft entrance with well balanced tannins and typical balsamic notes.”
Next, SOHO will pour a Ca’ Del Monte Ripasso 2014 from Veneto. The wine is described by the winemaker,
“Color: Brilliant Ruby Red Bouquet: Intriguingly complex with aromas of wild berries, spices and liquorices root. Taste: Wild cherries, berries, almondy finish. Soft, smooth and inviting .”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Castello di Monsanto Chianti Classico Reserva 2016 from Chianti Classico. Notes on the wine,
“The Chianti Classico Riserva comes from a selection of grapes from vineyards which are more suitable for long maturing. The 2016 vintage shows a ruby red color tending towards garnet. Rich, intense and complex nose with notes of black cherry and spice. Full bodied with rich red berry fruit flavors complimenting a backbone of tannin.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zelinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
