First, SOHO will pour a Mapuche Sauvignon Blanc 2018 from Central Valley, Chile.  The winemaker offers,

“Pablo Morandé is one of the fathers of wine-making in Chile. His influence has transformed the plantings in the Maipo Valley to be revered and respected around the world. Pablo is rooted in the history of Chilean wine production: being one of the leaders of the team making wines at Concha y Toro, a very well-known Chilean vineyard, and responsible for the release of the critically acclaimed Concha y Toro Melchor (a wine may credit as the benchmark release for Chilean wines around the world).

Next, SOHO will pour a Felino Malbec 2014 from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is described by the winemaker,

Dark purple in color with aromas of briar patch, green peppercorns, violets, and earth, this homage to the Cal-Ital blends of early Napa is a serious red wine. On the palate, it offers a lively and focused mouthfeel with mixed berry flavors and an amazing balance of fruit, tannin, and acidity.”
