This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, March 24, and the wines and their tapas will be available until Tuesday, March 30.

First, SOHO will pour a 2014 Terre Rouge ‘Tete a Tete’ from California’s Sierra Foothills.

2014 was a year where most of our Rhone varietal lots had brightness and ripe fruit. This wine drinks like wines from solid Cote-du-Rhone-Villages: sappy, spicy, mouth-filing and nuanced. Typical deep boysenberry fruit , with smoky, gamey complex.

The second wine is a 2018 Stephen Vincent Crimson

Notes of black cherry, rhubarb, anise and toasted cacao nibs abound. Flavors are dark and brooding with blueberry pie and berry jam being predominate features. The tannins are particularly lush and melting with seamless consistency throughout.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2018 Klinker Brick Winery Cabernet Sauvginon

Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits medium garnet color, intense blueberry aromas with hint of clove and supple dark cherry on the palate. Fully integrated and well balanced, this wine has great tannin with a long, lingering finish.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

Terre Rouge, ‘Tete a Tete’, 2014
