Three fabulous French wines will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, May 10.
Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta
First, SOHO will pour a NV C. Mondavi & Family French Blue Rosé from Bordeaux.
“A beautiful rose the color of a pale pink peony, the wine glistens in the glass. The beautiful floral bouquet is reminiscent of lilacs and summer berries, while the palate bursts with bright citrus and luscious strawberry notes.”
The second wine is a NV Maison Louis Latour Domaine de Valmoissine from Provence.
“Pinot Noir from Domaine de Valmoissine has a ruby color and a complex nose with cocoa and ripe fruits from south of France, such as arbutus berry. The mouth is ample and round with silky tannins and undergrowth hints. Nice persistence in the mouth.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Delas Freres Saint-Esprit Côtes du Rhône from Côtes du Rhône.
“Its deep colour has a dark, plum-like hue. The nose is classically Syrah, with berry fruit, violet, liquorice. It has a full, rounded palate with delicate tannins, making it unique in the ‘Côtes-du-Rhône’ category.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
