Three California wines will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, March 22.
Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta
First, SOHO will pour a 2019 SeaGlass Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County, California.
“A delicate, perfumed Pinot Noir, indicative of the sea-swept vines at our Los Alamos Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. A palate of bright red cherry and cranberry is balanced by a subtle oak character. A beautifully bal-anced wine with vibrant acidity. “
The second wine is a 2019 Terra d’Oro Zinfandel from Amador County, California.
“This Zinfandel has a deep garnet color with lifted aromas of dark fruit, clove and spicy oak. The palate is focused with crisp and juicy layers of ripe blackberry, spicy plum and soft chewy tannins. The baked spice components add complexity to this bold wine and support a great balance of power and restraint.“
Finally, SOHO will pour a 2018 Taken Wine Co. ‘Complicated’ Red Blend from Central Coast, California.
“Inviting aromas of ripe red fruit are complemented by fresh flavors of cherries and strawberries, accented with sweet, spicy oak tones. The wine is opulent yet balanced with a soft palate and a smooth, rounded, supple finish.”
