Three California wines will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, March 8.

Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta

First, SOHO will pour a 2019 Mettler Family Albarino from Lodi, California.

“Dazzling green-apple flavors and a zippy intensity in the texture make this unoaked wine very appetizing and energized. Crisp, Tangy, and delicious.” This wine pairs perfectly with lighter fish and acidity.

The second wine is a 2018 Matchbook ‘The Arsonist’ Red Blend from Dunnigan Hills, California.

“This blend is dedicated to the finest Bordeaux varietal growing in our Dunnigan Hills vineyard.—Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are blended to add length, depth, and roundness. We age the wine 28 months in a combination of French, European, and American Oak.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2017 Vinum Cellars ‘The Insider’ Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles, California.

This Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon has medium plus dark plum color. Casis immedi-ately jumps out of the glass which invites more intrigue then subtle grape tannin be-comes evident followed by ripe cherry and ultimately baked rhubarb pie notes. Palate entry is super balanced with a silky texture.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
