Three California wines will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, April 5.

Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta

First, SOHO will pour a 2016 Rabble Wine Company Red Blend from Paso Robles, California.

“Enticing notes of dark ripe berries, black cherry and plums fill the glass. Vibrant flavors of blackberries and boysenberries with hints of vanilla and cocoa powder all harmonize together for a luxurious mouthfeel. Tannins and natural acidity balance out nicely and leave a seamless finish.”

The second wine is a 2017 Robert Hall Merlot also from Paso Robles, California.

“Rich aromas of ripe black cherry accentuated by hints of cedar emanate from this Merlot. Lush, ruby-red color indicates the level of concentration yielded by the vintage and the vineyards. On the palate, rich flavors mirror the aromas and are complemented by soft, silky tannins on the finish.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Maddalena Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles, California.

“Maddalena Cabernet Sauvignon shows ripe red fruit, including raspberry, plum, and spicy black cherry. Barrel aging contributes notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2016 Rabble Wine Company Red Blend
Appellation : Paso Robles, California
Varietals : Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Paired with: Grilled Pork Loin, Pineapple, Soy

2017 Robert Hall Merlot
Appellation : Paso Robles, California
Varietal: Merlot
Paired with: Grilled Filet, Mushroom Risotto, Merlot Jus

2019 Maddalena Cabernet Sauvignon
Appellation : Paso Robles, California
Varietal : Cabernet Sauvignon
Paired with: Pan-Seared Duck Breast, Cherry Jus

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $15. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $21. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $16. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($10/glass and $8/tapas)

Can’t make it to Flight Night on Wednesday? No worries! While our pairings debut on Wednesdays, they’re available through the following Tuesday, so you have all week to catch up on the featured wines and tapas.

We can’t wait to see you!
