First, SOHO will pour a 2019 Neyers ‘304’ Chardonnay from Sonoma County, CA.

The finished wine undergoes a slight malolactic fermentation and is lightly filtered at bottling. It has a refreshing natural crispness to it, along with a delicious citric element of lemon and lime. It finishes fresh and vibrant and is low in alcohol.

The second wine is a 2019 Bieler Pere & Fils La Jassine from Côtes du Rhône, France.

Heaps of dark berry fruit, along with classic Provence garrigue notes (rosemary, thyme, sage), and a broad, rich and super textured palate. This wine boasts a density more akin to Châteauneuf-du-Pape than Côtes du Rhône.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2017 Finca Nueva Crianza from Rioja, Spain.

Aromas of dark berries and cherry and notes of vanilla and cola, this Rioja is complex and smooth. Blackberry and black cherry flavors lead to a spicy finish, a touch of mocha, and very good length (Fresh, Blackberry, Spice, Full-Bodied).

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2019 Neyers ‘304’ Chardonnay
Sonoma, CA
Paired with: Mini Tuna Niçoise (Boiled Egg, Tomato, Haricot Vert, Red Onion & Anchovy)

2019 Bieler Pere & Fils La Jassine
Côtes du Rhône, France
Grenache & Syrah
Paired with: Steak Pane (Fried, Breaded Steak Cutlet), Mashed Potatoes, Gravy

2017 Finca Nueva Crianza
Rioja, Spain
Paired with: Palomilla Steak Quesadilla, Jack Cheese, Avocado Cilantro Salsa

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $15. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $21. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $16. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($10/glass and $8/tapas)

Can’t make it to Flight Night on Wednesday? No worries! While our pairings debut on Wednesdays, they’re available through the following Tuesday, so you have all week to catch up on the featured wines and tapas.

We can’t wait to see you!
