Guest favorite wines and flavors from 2021 will highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, December 7
Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta
First, SOHO will pour a 2019 Saget La Perrière La Petite Perriere from Loire Valley, France.
This pinot noir has a very bright garnet robe with purple shades. A very Burgundian earthiness opens to notes of wild cherry. It’s an outburst of freshness on the palate, a body full of momentum and tension ending ina hint of vanilla.
The second wine is a 2019 La Maldita Rioja Garnacha from Rioja, Spain.
Spanish red wine that is incredibly fresh and fruit-forward with notes of strawberries. A vibrant acidity and silky tannins allow this easy-drinking red to go down smoothly.
Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Grounded Wine Co. Cabernet Sauvignon from California.
Garnet in color, with a youthful violet hue, this 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon opens on the nose with black cherry and blackcurrant aromas. The wine is immediately warm and inviting on the palate, with ripe, briary blackberry and vanilla flavors. Notes of mocha and sweet oak comple-ment the refined tannins of this generous, full-throttled Cabernet throughout its long finish.
SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
