Guest favorite wines and flavors from 2021 will highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, December 28.
Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta
First, SOHO will pour a 2018 Maison Louis Latour Domaine de Valmoissine from Provance, France.
The Pinot Noir from Domaine de Valmoissine has a ruby color and a complex nose with cocoa and ripe fruits from south of France, such as arbutus berry. The mouth is ample and round with silky tannins and undergrowth hints. Nice persistancy in the mouth.
The second wine is a 2019 Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Clasico from Mendoza, Argentina.
This wine displays a bright ruby red color, with lively violet hues. On the nose it is intense, showing notes of red fruits, strawberry and fresh plums. As the wine opens, it also shows mineral notes of graphite. On the palate it is fresh, very drinkable, with balanced acidity and supple tannins. The finish is long, fruity, and vertical.
Finally, SOHO will pour a 2018 Castello Banfi Centine Toscana Red Blend from Tuscany, Italy.
Color : Intense ruby red.
Bouquet : Luscious berry and ripe cherry on the nose.
Taste : Hints of vanilla and fresh herbs on the palate. Soft tannins and great acidity balance out this enticing red.
SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
