The wines and flavors of Tuscany will be highlighted at SOHO this evening for Flight Night! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, November 9.

Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta

First, SOHO will pour a 2018 Bibi Graetz Toscana Casamatta Rosso from Toscana.

It is a pure transparent Sangiovese with plenty cherry and raspberry, nice acidity and a round medium body with low tannins and a vibrant and surprising aftertaste.

The second wine is a 2018 Barone Ricasoli Chianti from Chianti.

Bright ruby red color. Pleasant nose of red fruit with balsamic hints. The entry is fresh, soft and round. Harmonious finish with a pleasant good persistence to the end.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Marchesi de Frescobaldi Toscana Remole Rouge from Toscana, IGT.

A beautiful, bright purple-red colour. The juicy, fruity aromas—one of the wine’s main charac-teristics—blend well and alternate with floral notes and hints of spices, including clove.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2018 Bibi Graetz Toscana Casamatta Rosso
Paired with: Braised Short Rib, Stuffed Piquillo Pepper, Red Wine Demi Glace

2018 Barone Ricasoli Chianti
Paired with: Country Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Balsamic Reduction

2019 Marchesi de Frescobaldi Toscana Remole Rouge
Toscana IGT
Paired with: Clove-Marinated Sirloin, Parmesan Risotto, Peach Glaze

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $14.75. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $19.50. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $14. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($9.75/glass and $6.75/tapas)

Can’t make it to Flight Night on Wednesday? No worries! While our pairings debut on Wednesdays, they’re available through the following Tuesday, so you have all week to catch up on the featured wines and tapas.

We can’t wait to see you!
