First, SOHO will pour a 2020 Inama Vin Soave Classico from Soave.

On the nose there is the nectar of field flowers such as chamomile, elderflower, iris. Mineral on the palate with a finish of almond, typical of classic Garganega.

The second wine is a 2020 Masseria Li Veli Susumaniello from Salento.

Ruby red with purplish shimmer, on the nose it presents a distinct red berries aroma, from raspberry, sour cherry, to blackcurrant, followed by liquorice, rhubarb and raw-hide leather. On the mouth it tastes soft with a good fatness, very elegant and well balanced by a tannins party. The long finish on the palate shows a touch of acidity and a great freshness.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Tua Rita Rosso dei Notri from Toscana.

Deep ruby red in color, with aromas of black fruits, name-ly blackberries, plums and ripe black cherries over more subtle notes of cocoa, licorice and sweet spice. On the palate, the wine is smooth, with silky tannins and bracing acidity, showing structural balance long into the finish.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2020 Inama Vin Soave Classico
Soave
Garganega
Paired with: Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Aligot Potatoes, Rasberry Jus

2020 Masseria Li Veli Susumaniello

Paired with: Blackened Ribeye, Mushroom Risotto, Silvered Almonds

2019 Tua Rita Rosso dei Notri

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $15. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $21. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $16. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($10/glass and $8/tapas)

Can’t make it to Flight Night on Wednesday? No worries! While our pairings debut on Wednesdays, they’re available through the following Tuesday, so you have all week to catch up on the featured wines and tapas.

We can’t wait to see you!

First, SOHO will pour a 2017 Marchesi di Barolo Gavi from Gavi.

Tenuous straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. An intense and odor with persistent fruity and flowery scents similar to those of Golden apples and green almonds as well as a clean aroma of chamomile flowers. The flavor is full-bodied and remarkably sapid, balanced, harmonious and persistent.

The second wine is a 2017 Marchesi de Barolo Maraia from Barbera del Monferrato.

The color is a lively and brilliant dark ruby-red. The perfume is fresh and intense with clean scents of wild berries, currants and sour black cherry. A light hint of vanilla and toasted oak. The flavor is warm and robust, full-bodied, pleasant and balanced.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Ca Gialla Nebbiolo from Langhe.

This ruby-red vintage offers a persistent, exuberant bouquet and palate with velvety-smooth notes of strawberry, raspberry and cherry that blend seam-lessly with hints of herbs, mineral and earth on the long finish. This wine is at once delicate and dense, elegant and full-bodied.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
