First, SOHO will pour a 2019 Upshot Winery White Blend from Sonoma, County CA.

This bright wine bursts with aromas of white peach, apricot and jasmine blossom with flavors of melon, peach and a wet stone minerality followed by a crisp yet full finish.

The second wine is a 2017 Beran Vineyards Zinfandel from Sonoma County, CA.

Aromas of just-baked blueberry pie, raspberry, and dark chocolate with hints of vanilla oak lead to a palate that is rich and yet also elegant. This wine has beautiful red and black berry fruit flavors, with hints of cloves and pepper with a long finish.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2018 Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley, Sonoma, CA.

This is an elegant wine with aromas of black cherry, cassis, plum, vanilla, oak and chocolate. In the glass there are lush flavors of cherry, cassis, blackberry and chocolate. The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon evolves with each sip. This is a graceful wine with great balance and a long, lingering finish.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2019 Upshot Winery White Blend
Sonoma County, CA
53% Grenache Blanc, 18% Pinot Noir, 16% Gewürztraminer, 8% Viognier, 5% Sauvignon Blanc
Paired with: Steamed Mussels, Lentils, Idaho Potato, Chorizo, Savory Tomato Broth

2017 Beran Vineyards Zinfandel
Sonoma County, CA
Zinfandel
Paired with: Grilled Sirloin, Potato Puree & Red Wine Demi Glace

2018 Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Alexander Valley, Sonoma, CA

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $14.75. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $19.50. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $14. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($9.75/glass and $6.75/tapas)

First, SOHO will pour a 2019 Matanzas Creek Winery Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma County, California.

Aromas of fresh ruby grapefruit, white peach, white lilly, jasmine, and passion fruit. Flavors of fresh quince, honeydew melon, succulent pear, jasmine, and honey-suckle.

The second wine is a 2019 Raeburn Pinot Noir from Sonoma, California.

Brilliant crimson in color, Raeburn Russian River Valley Pinot Noir leads with pleasing aromas of baking spice and vanilla. The palate is marked with stunning fruit flavors of lush wild blueberry, raspberry and blackberry with undertones of roasted hazelnut. The finish is graceful and sophisticated.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2016 Home Field Red Blend from Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma, California.

A likable Zinfandel-driven blend, this has sizable components of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carignan and Petite Sirah, too—the whole adding up to a spicy, herbal and juicy offering of tart red fruit. Generous oak and moderate tannin give it powerful smoothness and lasting richness.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2019 Matanzas Creek Winery
Sonoma County, CA
Sauvignon Blanc
Paired with: Smoked Salmon, Honey, Dill, Peach Crème Fraîche

2019 Raeburn Pinot Noir

First, SOHO will pour is a 2019 Seghesio Family Vineyards Chardonnay from Sonoma County, California.

Bright and focused with notes of lemon curd and crushed stone on the nose that carry through to the palate. The wine is creamy and round on the palate, with a crystalline purity of fruit accented by a swathe of warm spice that comes from time spent in French oak barrels. The finish is fresh and mouthwatering.

The second wine is a 2018 Ferrari-Carano Siena Red from Sonoma County, California.

Siena has delicious aromas of blackberry, raspberry jam, cocoa, toasty vanilla, licorice, and nutmeg spice that lead to flavors of Bing cherry, blueberry, sweet plums, pomegranate, mocha, sweet oak notes and a hint of butterscotch. Siena has supple tannins and a balanced mouthfeel with lively elegance and depth.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2017 Toad Hollow Merlot from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma, California.

Red velvet in color, aromas are equally pretty with black cherry and chocolate covered hazelnut notes. The flavors of cranberry, black cherry and blueberry are round and full on the palate with hints of baking spice and chocolate in the finish.

First, SOHO will pour a 2018 Buehler Vineyards Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma, California.

Balance and proportion best describe the character of our Russian River Chardonnay; it displays abundant floral and stone fruit aromas lightly accented by toasty, graham cracker sur-lie qualities. The mouth feel is creamy and full but the natural acidity of the Russian River fruit carries this velvet textured package to a long, clean finish.

The second wine is a 2019 Gundlach Bundschu Mountain Cuvee from Sonoma Valley, California.

Lush layers of ripe berries with hints of toasted oak are displayed in this vibrant Bordeaux-inspired red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Juicy red fruit, black currants and tobacco come together in this medium-bodied wine. The silky tannins, hints of oak and cedar, and elegant structure finish deliver a real crowd-pleaser.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2019 Dry Creek Zinfandel from Sonoma County, California.

This vintage presents enticing aromatics of dried cranberry and boysenberry with hints of cocoa powder, nutmeg, dried sage and cedar. On the palate, brambly flavors of blackberry and black cherry come forward with bright acidity complimented by deeper notes of dark chocolate, espresso and black pepper. The tannins are silky and smooth to lend a round, rich mouthfeel. From start to finish, this remarkable wine offers refreshing acidity paired with excellent structure and a round, rich mouthfeel.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2018 Buehler Vineyards Chardonnay
Russian River Valley, Sonoma, CA
Chardonnay
Paired with: Fresh Fruit with Prosciutto and Salami

2019 Gundlach Bundschu Mountian Cuvee
Sonoma Valley, CA
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah
Paired with: Beef Stew with Grilled Baguette

2019 Dry Creek Zinfandel
Sonoma County, CA
Zinfandel
Paired with: Cocoa-Powder Ribeye with Potato Puree & Blackberry Jus

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $14.75. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $19.50. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $14. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($9.75/glass and $6.75/tapas)
