The wines and flavors of the Pacific Northwest shine at SOHO this evening! The wines and tapas debuting tonight are available through Tuesday, September 7.
Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta
First, SOHO will pour a 2020 Hedges Sauvignon Blanc from Columbia Valley, WA.
Light straw color. Bright aromas of creamy lemon curd, tropical papaya, hint of ripe pear, lemon grass
and just a touch of gooseberry. Bright and citrusy with a touch of creaminess on the mid-palate. Flavors
of citrus and lychee lead into a delicately refreshing yet layered finish.
The second wine is a 2019 King Estate Inscription Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, OR.
This wine delivers with fresh red fruit flavors, like raspber-ry and ripe strawberry. There are definitive Oregon flavors of mushroom, forest floor and earth. This is rich and well-built with oak and vanilla nuances attributed to aging in French oak.
Finally, SOHO will pour a NV14 J. Bookwalter Notebook Red Blend from Columbia Valley, WA.
Heaps of youthful red fruits like black cherries, plums, red currants and figs wrapped with cedar, caramel and choco-late. Succulent smooth fruit begins, with flavors of baker’s chocolate, black cherry, blackberry, toast, dried herbs, tobacco and cola finish.
SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:
