Thank you so much for your continued support of SOHO American Bistro. We are so happy to serve you, our loyal friends and patrons, for over 23 years. We are also excited about the new friends we make as people hear about us through your kind words and recommendations.

During these complex times we wanted to assure you we are observing the highest standards for sanitation and cleanliness. We are going the extra mile to assure a safe and healthful environment. Please see some of the efforts that help us stand out in the neighborhood.

•Our entire staff is back in masks. We enjoyed the break but current conditions warrant the extra step.

•We sanitize every table in between use with disposable table wipes designed specifically for the purpose.

•We have increased outdoor seating to accommodate those wanting fresh air. We will start taking limited reservations on the patio beginning in September—these will NOT be available on OpenTable. You must speak with a host or manager as we are limiting our reservations outside.

•Weather permitting, we will open the Paces room to invite the fresh air into our dining room.

•We have a service coming through and sanitizing our entire environment throughout the week.

Please let us know if you have any concerns. We appreciate your feedback and trust. We will continue to update all of our practices based on the National Restaurant Association’s “best practices.”

Warmly,

The SOHO Management & Team

The wines and flavors of the ‘other’ California (regions outside of Napa Valley) are featured at SOHO this week and through August 31.

Please make reservations here: https://www.opentable.com/r/soho-atlanta

First, SOHO will pour a 2020 Shooting Star Sauvignon Blanc from Lake County, CA.

This Sauvignon Blanc shows off the great growing region of Lake County, aromas are of guava and citrus zest, with flavors of passionfruit, pineapple, and pink grapefruit.

The second wine is a 2019 Beckman Vineyards Cuvee Le Bec from Santa Ynez Valley, CA.

Black and blue fruits, licorice, violets, and pepper aromas lead the way in this outstanding vintage of Cuvee le Bec. A cooler vintage brings some fantastic structure and acid-ity, where the blackberry, dark cherry, licorice, pepper, and roasted herbs are complex and long on the palate

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2018 Ancient Peaks Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles, CA.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon presents vivid varietal aromas of luscious black fruits with notes of cedar, pen-cil shaving and black olive. A deep, layered palate un-folds with heady flavors of black currant, blackberry and blueberry with suggestions of cherry, mint, vanilla, and toasted oak. Plump tannins and balanced acidity add length and structure to a richly integrated finish.

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines:

2020 Shooting Star Sauvignon Blanc
Lake County, CA
Sauvignon Blanc
Paired with: Sautéed Shrimp with Linguini and Citrus Zest

2018 Ancient Peaks Chardonnay
Santa Ynez Valley, CA
51% Syrah, 38% Grenache, 6% Mourvedre, 5% Counoise
Paired with: Pan-Seared Filet with Blue Cheese and Blackberry Jus

2018 Ancient Peaks Cabernet Sauvignon
Paso Robles, CA
79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 8% Petite Sirah, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc
Paired with: Grilled Pork Loin, Mashed Potatoes and Black Raspberry Jus

Sample each wine in a flight (three three-ounce glasses) for $14.75. Or, pair the flight with a tapa plate for $19.50. Try a full glass of wine and tapa plate for $14. Of course, the wines and tapas are available individually as well ($9.75/glass and $6.75/tapas)

Can’t make it to Flight Night on Wednesday? No worries! While our pairings debut on Wednesdays, they’re available through the following Tuesday, so you have all week to catch up on the featured wines and tapas.

We can’t wait to see you!

Our invitation to you… savor Flight Night with us🍷!
