Tonight, we raise a glass to Frank, who would have wanted us to drink wine, and celebrate his life. That, we shall do at Flight Night tonight. We are expecting it to be busy, so please make reservations with us for social distancing measures for everyone’s safety here: http://ow.ly/uUGJ50BsXoW

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday September 16, and the wines and their tapas will be available until September 22nd.

First, SOHO will pour a Stafford Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2018 from Willamette Valley, Oregon.

“A complex wine with great texture and layered with aromas and flavors of peach, pineapple, fresh citrus and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long, fresh and crisp.”

The second wine is a Tenet ‘The Pundit’ Syrah 2016 from Columbia Valley, WA. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“The color is deep ruby with garnet highlights. Raspberry jam and citrus with soy and earthy undertone aromas are complemented by a brambly, subtle meaty character. A smooth mouthfeel glides into a long silky finish with flavors of juicy blueberry, hints of tobacco and subtle gamey undertones.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Novelty Hill Royal Slope Red Blend 2017 from Columbia Valley, WA. Notes on the wine,

“Concentrated and richly scented in the glass with enticing black fruit aromas gaining focus on the palate. Fresh plum, currant and black cherry flavors stretch across a long, textured finish.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
