🍷We’ve saved the best for last: The finale of our Pacific Northwest wines begins TONIGHT at Flight Night! It’s the perfect weather to sip on some beautiful red wines while you munch on their matching tapas, & you won’t be disappointed. We open at 5; see you soon!

Please make reservations with us for social distancing measures for everyone’s safety here: http://ow.ly/uUGJ50BsXoW

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday September 30th, and the wines and their tapas will be available until October 6th.

First, SOHO will pour a Drouhin Oregon ‘Rose Rock’ Pinot Noir 2016 from Willamette Valley, Oregon.

“A velvety approach and focused structure. Balanced and long on the
palate, the elegance shines through many layers of flavors. This is a wine
that will be delicious young but that has a bright future.”

The second wine is a Owen Roe ‘Lenore’ Syrah 2018 from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“Very dark in color, this Syrah exhibits notes of black currants and
blackberry with a hint of vanilla. The palate has a great texture with
balanced acidity and raspberry fruits. The finish is powerful yet soft with
dark chocolate tannins and black cherry flavors that linger.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Alexandria Nicole A2 Squared Cabernet 2016 from Columbia Valley, WA. Notes on the wine,

“This wine displays aromatics of blackberry, black cherry, and black
currant, and is brought full circle with its nuanced oak profile of vanilla,
cedar and cocoa. The palate is smooth with soft yet supple tannins
that provide a juicy long-lasting finish.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!

Drouhin Oregon ‘Rose Rock’ Pinot Noir 2016
100% Pinot Noir
Paired with: SautĂŠd Salmon with Lemon Buerre Blanc

Owen Roe ‘Lenore’ Syrah 2018

Paired with: Lamb Stew with Grilled Bread

Alexandria Nicole A2 Squared Cabernet 2016

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday September 23rd, and the wines and their tapas will be available until September 29th.

First, SOHO will pour a Averaen Chardonnay 2018 from Willamette Valley, Oregon.

“Aromas of crushed pineapple, bees wax, lemon curd and jasmine lead in to this generous, pallet-coating wine. Those flavors persist along with pie crust and a jolt of salinity and citrus notes in the middle, finishing with a long, lingering acidity and vanilla bean note.”

The second wine is a Argyle Pinot Noir Grower Series 2018 from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“2018 vintage leans dark cherry, red raspberry, and orange zest. Fresh, vibrant acidity is framed with polished tannin along with classic Argyle silky texture and persistent length.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Greenwing Cabernet 2018 from Columbia Valley, WA. Notes on the wine,

“Dark ruby in color, it presents generous and pure black and red fruit aromatics, framed in spicy and aromatic oak. Black plum and bing cherry lead the way, followed by notions of clove, brown sugar, and mocha. On the palate, the wine is broad, juicy, and plummy. Plush, with lots of body, the wine finishes with noble presence and fine-grain tannins.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Todd Paige has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!

“Our 2017 Spellbinder is dramatically aromatic, with classic Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc herb and earth notes framed by graphite overtones. It is a medium-bodied wine showing both red and dark fruit characteristics, including bing cherry, blueberry, and cassis, that finishes with soft tannins and bright acid.”
