First, SOHO will pour a Adriano Pinot Grigio 2018 from Alto Adige.  The winemaker offers,

“This wine is a light straw-yellow color with an intense fresh fruity bouquet including accents of honeydew melon. This wine exhibits intense fruit with crisp fresh acidity, and an overall round and soft midpalate followed by a long balanced finish.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Varvaglione Papale, Primitivo 2014 from Manduria, Puglia. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“COLOUR Deep red with very nice violet hints. BOUQUET Really intense aromas and reminiscent of fruit jam, blackcurrants, cherries, mulberries, cocoa and liquorice. TASTE Round, smooth taste with fruity notes and an aromatic aftertaste.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Marchesi Frescobaldi “Terre More” Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 from Magliano, Tuscany. Notes on the wine,

“Full-bodied and brilliant, Terre More 2015 is a deep, rich ruby colour. Quite varied to the nose with fruity notes of plums and currants and then shows spicy and balsamic notes of vanilla and liquorish. Fresh, thanks to its elegant acidity, it possesses a very long finish leaving a fruity and sweet aftertaste.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zelinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
