Mouthwatering acidity and attractive mineral notes lead to a long, energetic finish.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Enrico Serafino Nebbiolo d’Alba 2015 from Piedmont. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“Colour: Light ruby red with garnet hues. Nose: Elegant, delightful, with small red fruits and floral aromas. Hints of spices and coffee. Palate: Fine, elegant, medium- to full-bodied and very well-balanced with pleasant tannins and a delightful finish.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Iron + Sand Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 from Paso Robles. Notes on the wine,

“A layered and well-structured Paso Robles Cabernet with black fruit aromas and rich, mouthwatering flavors, balanced with velvety tannins and a lively acidity profile.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Nicolas Potel Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2017 from Burgundy, FR. The wine is described by the winemaker,

For October, we’re turning Flight Night upside down! Rather than pair tapas to featured wines, we’re showing our guests how beef, chicken, pork, fish, and veggies can paired with different, unusual types of wine.  And this week: BEEF….It’s what’s for Flight Night! Let’s enjoy this fall weather (finally!) with some savory beef tapas & beautifully paired red wines. đŸ·đŸ‚ Sound good?

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, October 9, and the wines and their tapas will be available through October 15th.

First, SOHO will pour a La Cartuja Priorat 2016 from Priorat, Spain.  The winemaker offers,

“Sexy, seductive bright, juicy cherry and blackberry notes are supported by lavender and hints of anise and peppery spice on the long finish.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 from Alexander Valley. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“The 2016 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is driven by blue fruit, with aromas of huckleberry and plum. This high-toned wine has savory qualities of baking chocolate and clove. Subtle underpinnings of violet and walnut come across the palate, along with an elegant structure and bright acidity.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Annabella Red Blend 2017 from California. Notes on the wine,

“The 2017 Annabella red blend is bright and expressive right from the start. Aromas of raspberries, cocoa-dusted strawberries, and a hint of freshly roasted coffee leap from the glass. The mouth is jam packed with layers of extroverted flavors – raspberries, red cherry, and milk chocolate supported by structured oak and a well balanced acidity.”
