🎃 It’s going to be a spook-tacular Flight Night TONIGHT! We’ve got delectable, Chef-crafted pork tapas paired with wines that will give you chills! 😱 Come to your regular haunt at 5:30 to get things started, if you dare…..
This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, October 30th, and the wines and their tapas will be available through November 5th.
First, SOHO will pour a Crossbarn Pinot Noir 2017 from Sonoma County. The winemaker offers,
“Deep purple in color, the wine opens with fresh aromatics of violets, cinnamon spice, orange zest and strawberry jam. The palate is vibrant and rich, with juicy wild berry, baked rhubarb, and baking spice that’s surrounded by velvety tannins. Mouthwatering acidity and attractive mineral notes lead to a long, energetic finish.”
Next, SOHO will pour a Enrico Serafino Nebbiolo d’Alba 2015 from Piedmont. The wine is described by the winemaker,
“Colour: Light ruby red with garnet hues. Nose: Elegant, delightful, with small red fruits and floral aromas. Hints of spices and coffee. Palate: Fine, elegant, medium- to full-bodied and very well-balanced with pleasant tannins and a delightful finish.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Iron + Sand Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 from Paso Robles. Notes on the wine,
“A layered and well-structured Paso Robles Cabernet with black fruit aromas and rich, mouthwatering flavors, balanced with velvety tannins and a lively acidity profile.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zelinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
