The finale of french wines begins TONIGHT, and we have to say, we’re sorry to see this month go! We (and our guests) had a great time drinking these wines and celebrating France’s culinary offerings. But alas, all good things must come to an end, so come say “au revoir” to the last week of our wine & tapa pairings from France with us! You will not be disappointed…
This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, July 31st, and the wines and their tapas will be available through August 6th.
First, SOHO will pour a Domaine Michel Vittan Sancerre 2018 from Loire Valley, France. The winemaker offers,
“Made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the caillottes terroir, this wine is dry, aromatic and bursting with freshness.”
Next, SOHO will pour a Domaine des Nugues Beaujolais Village 2016 from Burgundy, France. The wine is described by the winemaker,
“Deep ruby color with berries and spices aromas.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a Gerard Bertrand Chateau L’Hospitalet Rouge 2016 from Languedoc-Roussillon, France. Notes on the wine,
“Château l’Hospitalet La Réserve red has a deep ruby-red colour. Soft and balanced in the mouth, this cuvée has the generous fruitiness of jam, black cherries and red currants accompanied with notes of liquorice, gingerbread and grilled notes. Complex and aromatic, this wine offers fine tannins.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zelinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
