The finale of french wines begins TONIGHT, and we have to say, we’re sorry to see this month go! We (and our guests) had a great time drinking these wines and celebrating France’s culinary offerings. But alas, all good things must come to an end, soĀ come say “au revoir” to the last week of our wine & tapa pairings from France with us! You will not be disappointed…
This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, July 31st, and the wines and their tapas will be available through August 6th.
First, SOHO will pourĀ a Domaine Michel Vittan Sancerre 2018Ā from Loire Valley, France.Ā The winemaker offers,
āMade with Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the caillottes terroir, this wine is dry, aromatic and bursting with freshness.ā
Next, SOHO will pour a Domaine des NuguesĀ Beaujolais Village 2016Ā from Burgundy, France. The wine is described by the winemaker,
āDeep ruby color with berries and spices aromas.ā
Finally, SOHO will pour a Gerard BertrandĀ Chateau LāHospitalet Rouge 2016Ā from Languedoc-Roussillon, France. Notes on the wine,
āChĆ¢teau lāHospitalet La RĆ©serve red has a deep ruby-red colour. Soft and balanced in the mouth, this cuvĆ©e has the generous fruitiness of jam, black cherries and red currants accompanied with notes of liquorice, gingerbread and grilled notes. Complex and aromatic, this wine offers fine tannins.ā
