Oh, the French wines, c’est magnifique!🍇 We’re kicking off Flight Night tonight with 3 that are elegant, drinkable, and even better with their tapas mates. Hit “pause” on your week, and come celebrate France with us tonight!

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, July 17th, and the wines and their tapas will be available through July 23rd.

First, SOHO will pour a Château de Perenchère Bordeaux Supérior 2016 from Bordeaux.  The winemaker offers,

“An intense ruby color, the Château de Parenchère Bordeaux Supérieur is full and fleshy with a strong underlying structure. It displays intense red fruit aromas of cassis and black cherry with elegantly soft tannins. There is a great balance between the ripe fruit expression and the wine’s freshness.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Villa Ponciago Fleurie Reserve NV from Burgundy, France. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“Bright brilliant colour, reflecting garnet and violet nuances. Bouquet, fine and elegant with notes of cherry and blueberry. Palate, extremely expressive, with a freshness highlighting the balance between structure and aromatic richness.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Boutinot Cote du Rhone Village 2014 from Rhone. Notes on the wine,

“The Cuvée Les Coteaux 2014 Domaine Boutinot offers a wine of pleasure. A delicate and fruity nose with notes of red and black fruits such as cherry and blackberry reveals a beautiful aromatic complexity. On the palate the notes are more unctuous, we perceive cinnamon accompanied by roasted notes. This vintage is nice and has a real elegance.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zelinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
