Are you ready for Flight Night? For the month of July, we’re savoring the wines of France, and we couldn’t be more excited to share our gorgeous wine picks with Chef’s french tapas pairings, because we know you’re going to love them as much as we do!

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, July 3rd, and the wines and their tapas will be available through July 9th.

First, SOHO will pour a Gerard Bertrand Cote du Roussillion Village Tautavel 2015 from Tautavel, Roussillon.  The winemaker offers,

“The color is intense and glossy, with light reflections of brown. Intensely fruity aroma of red forest fruits and raspberry persist with complex and spicy notes. An excellent attack on the palate with supple tannins and notes of wild herbs and spices.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Domaine Les Pins Bourgueil Cabernet Franc 2016 from Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Loire. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“APPEARANCE : Ruby-red colour, intense, garnet red highlights. NOSE : Aromatic, elegant, fresh fruit aromas, red fruit aromas. PALATE : Aromatic, delicate, smooth, fine tannin, round, good intensity, good length.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Domaine De Saint Cosme “Les Deux Albion” 2017 from la Principauté d’Orange, Loire. Notes on the wine,

“Its aromas of white peach, mango and rose usher in a balanced, saline palate. I am very happy with what the Saint Cosme team has done in this beautiful abandoned vineyard site. We have given a small piece of land a new lease of life. Flint, dried apricot, marshmallow, violet.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zelinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
