The finale of Spanish vinos begins TONIGHT at Flight Night!🍷 What a wonderful way to end April: with 3 utterly delicious red wines, & Joey’s perfect tapas to munch on in gorgeous Atlanta weather. Patio, anyone?

This Flight Night begins on Wednesday, April 24th, and the wines and their tapas will be available through April 30th.

First, SOHO will pour a Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León Dehesa La Granja 2009 from Zamora, Spain.  The winemaker offers,

“ASPECT: Ripe wild-cherry red in color with an intense maroon rim. AROMA: Subtle hints of ripe red berries with smooth, rounded balsamic notes and traces of smoky, toasted elements. TASTE: A well-structured, potent, velvety, and fleshy wine in the mouth, boasting powerful, rounded tannins.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Tosalet Priorat 2014 from Priorat, Spain. The wine is described by the winemaker,

“Clear deep dark purple color. Pure and very intense aromas reminiscent of red berry fruit such as cranberries, red cherries and raspberries combined with mineral notes of flint and hints of eucalyptus. The palate is dry, full bodied with rich concentrated juicy fruit, firm but ripe tannins and a refreshing acidity making this a great food wine that will age very well for 4-6 years.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Bodegas Langa, “ π “ Calatayud 2016 from Calatayud, Spain. Notes on the wine,

“Cherry red, very deep with purplish tints. Fragrant nose of mature red and black fruits. Elegant vintage aromas, with hints of cocoa and tobacco. Complex and elegant. Unctuous on the mouth, fat and very glyceric. Sweet tannins, round and velvety.”
