First, SOHO will pour a Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti Classico Riserva 2014 from Asti, Piedmont, and offers the following tasting notes,

“..The nose is expressive dominated by crushed lavender and roses with earthy tones of cypress. The firm tannin structure is driven by powerful and rich fruit favors of black cherry, ripe -gs and tart currants. Bright acidity carries the -nish of white pepper, lime stone minerality and orange peel.”

Next, SOHO will pour a Allegrini Palazzo della Torre IGT 2012 from Veronese. The wine is described as,

“The vineyard surrounds Villa della Torre, a splendid masterpiece of Renaissance architecture now owned by the family, and produces a full-bodied red wine that has an ageing potential of at least ten years. The blend is the historic combination of Corvina and Rondinella with the addition of a small quantity of Sangiovese.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a Donna Olimpia 1898, Bolgheri 2013 from Bolgheri.  The winemaker says,

“Ruby red, very deep colour with purple hues. On the nose, ample and clean, with vibrant notes of cinnamon, blackberry, blueberry, pepperoni, chocolate and liquorice. It is well-structured, soft and very harmonious. Sweet tannins and lingering jammy fruits round up the finish.”

SOHO’s Executive Chef Joey Zalinka has created a suggested tapa plate to pair with each of the wines!
