SOHO is continuing the celebration of our favorite wines from Italy! This week’s Flight Night begins on Wednesday September 28th, and the wines and their tapas will be available through Tuesday, October 4th!
First, SOHO will pour a 2014 Casanove di Neri Rosso from Montalcino. The winemaker offers the following tasting notes,
“Intense ruby red, hints of wild cherry, violets and red fruits. Ample and easy to drink with excellent persistence.”
Next, SOHO will pour a 2011 Productori di Barbaresco from Piedmont. The wine is described as,
“Medium body vintage with bright red fruit and spicy flavors, balanced tannic finish”
Finally, SOHO will pour a 2011 Alasia Barolo from Piedmont. The winemaker says,
“Dark plum, leather and delicate violet aromas, plus notes of wood smoke and brown spice. A full, firm and ripe red with rich, powerful flavors. All balanced by ripe tannins, complex savory notes and a long finish.”
SOHO’s Executive Chef, Jeff Sigler, has created tapas plates for each of the wines!
