First, SOHO will pour a 2013 Nielson Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir. The winemaker offers the following tasting notes, “The flavor profile has a core of dark berry and dark cherry with hints of earth and brown spices, backed by a smooth silky and long finish, styled to highlight our cool-climate fruit.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2012 Pietra Santa Sassolino from Cienga Valley. The winemaker notes, “Our Estate Sassolino is a robust, red blend with bold fruit flavors of black cherry and plums with hints of chocolate and smoky oak. The wine is balanced and has soft, round tannins.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2013 Firestone Vineyard Santa Ynez Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasting notes from the winery state: “With its vibrant dark cherry color, and intense notes of blackberry, black cherry, anise and smoky oak, this wine is packed with flavor. The firm tannins and balanced structure make it excellent on the palate adding to the smoky, lingering finish.”

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, has created a tapas plate to be paired with each wine.
