First, SOHO will pour a 2012 Enzo Boglietti Barbara D’Alba DOC. The winemaker offers the following tasting notes: “Intense and complex bouquet. Floral, fruity with lightly perceivable oak. Full bodied, ripe and savory with vibrant acidity. It is true to its promise with good longevity.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2012 Sassoregale Sangiovese from the Tuscan Maremma. The winemaker says of the wine: “Its color is a bright ruby red. On the nose, it is clean and precise, with hints of morello cherries, wild berries and a moderate spiciness. On the palate it reveals a full-bodied, assertive flavor, which expresses both great intensity and elegance.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2010 L’Arco Rosso del Veronese from Veneto. The wine is described: ” This medium bodied red is laced with dark cherries, tobacco and a hint of lavender supported by gripping tannins and a lengthy finish.”

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, has created a tapas plate to be paired with each wine.
