First, SOHO will pour a 2013 Chateau Ste. Michelle Canoe Ridge Horse Heaven Hills Chardonnay from Columbia Valley, Washington. The winemaker offers the following tasting notes: “The Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay is refined and elegant and offers apple and citrus aromas with a clean, refreshing finish. We age the wine in lighter French oak barrels to maintain the fresh, elegant style of this Chardonnay.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2013 Elk Cove Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The winemaker describes the wine: “Deep cherry red with juicy raspberry and red cherry on the nose. The palate is bursting with dark Bing cherries, ripe raspberries, baking spices and black plums. Elements of pepper, coffee and chocolate balance the intense fruit flavors while soft ripe tannins lend structure and a lengthy finish.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2012 Three Rivers Wines ‘Rivers Red’ from Columbia Valley, Washington. The winemaker says, “The dominance of Merlot creates a soft and supple wine, while the Sangiovese and Syrah add balanced structure, complexity and savory notes to this blend. This approachable wine has fruit forward notes of berry, strawberry pie,  ripe cherry, cola and spice with a smooth finish and well-rounded tannins.”

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, and sous chef, Chris Lyons, have created a tapas plate to pair with each wine.
