First, SOHO will pour a 2012 Bethel Heights Estate Chardonnay from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The wine is described, “Aromas of honeydew melon, white peach, and lemon verbena with hints of star anise, nutmeg and white pepper. The palate featues flavors of banana and lemon zest with a hint of mid-palate salinity and bright acidity that carries the wine to a long, graceful finish.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2013 Soléna “Grande Cuvée” Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The winemaker says of the wine, “Deep bright red color. Strawberry raspberry jam – a powerful fruity nose with a hint of violet. The structure is round with just enough tannin to age very well.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2013 Owen Roe “Abbots Table” from Columbia Valley, Washington. The wine is described, “Sweet aromas of baked blueberries, pomegranate, violets, pencil shaving, clove, pepper and Grand Marnier. These sweet aromas give way to a more serious palate brimming with blueberry, pomegranate, white pepper and black tea with lasting tannins.

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, and sous chef, Chris Lyons, have created a tapas plate to pair with each wine.
