First, SOHO will pour a 2013 Davis Bynum River West Vineyard Chardonnay. The winemaker offers the following tasting notes, ” The 2013 Davis Bynum Chardonnay has beautiful aromas of baked apple, citrus and white floral. On the palate the wine opens up with brioche, lemon meringue and toasty baking spices, with a lush finish that is balanced with acidity and a rich creaminess.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2013 Migration Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The winemaker describes the wine, “Classic Russian River Valley red fruit aromas of pomegranate, cherry and strawberry leap from the glass accompanied by hints of oak-inspired spice. The vibrant red fruit is echoed on the palate, where lovely pumpkin pie spice notes of nutmeg and clove carry through to a long, satisfying finish.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2013 Baby Blue Bordeaux Blend Red Wine. Noted wine reviewer Robert Parker said of the wine, “The innovative blend called Baby Blue, has a floral nose of red and black currants as well as spice box. Its seductive aromatics are followed by a silky textured, medium to full-bodied wine with loads of personality and soul.”

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, and sous chef, Chris Lyons, have created a tapas plate to pair with each wine.
