First, SOHO will pour a 2012 Hartford Court Russian River Chardonnay. The winemaker describes the wine, “…subtle aromas of jasmine flower, citrus oil, ripe apple and pear. The elegant aromatics are complemented by fresh kiwi, lemon drop and Pippin apple flavors. The fruit focused mid-palate is followed by subtle mineral notes and a hint of crystalized ginger in the finish.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2012 Laetitia Winery Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara, California. The winemaker notes, “A seductive nose reminiscent of ripe plum and blackberry, with layered components of earth, violets and Asian spice. The palate reveals supple tannins and lively acids accented with pretty hints of framboise and underlying notes of dark chocolate and rye.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2012 Trig Point Diamond Dust Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from California’s Alexander Valley. The winemaker says of the Cabernet, “Bright, deep garnet. Offers and impressive mix of red cherry, blackberry, and espresso notes fanning out to dried herb and tobacco accents. The mid-palate is soft and expansive with roasted coffee and ripe blackberry flavors. Finishes with soft, supple tannins.”

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, has created three tapas plates to pair with the wines.
