First, SOHO will pour a 2011 Cristom Mt. Jefferson Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The winemaker describes the wine, “Aromas of brooding deep Oregon strawberry, pekoe-tea leaves, cola notes. [The wine gives the] impression of great vitality and liveliness, with a core of seductive ripe fruit.

Next, SOHO will pour a 2012 Casanova di Neri Rosso D.O.C. from Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy. The winemaker says, “Immediately upon opening, the 2011 Rosso di Casanova offers amazing aromas of ripe black cherries, mocha, anise and floral which leap from the glass. This shows depth and finesse with a wonderful rich velvety texture. Finishes up silky and caressing.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2009 Arcanun il Fauno Toscano I.G.T. from Tuscany, Italy. The winemaker notes, “A beautiful wine with deep black cherry color and elegant aromas of peppery spice and minerality. On the palate, the oak is discreet with a strong presence of spice and salted nutmeg. This is a balanced wine with beautiful length and bright acidity that comes together for a smooth finish of soft tannins and black pepper notes.”

SOHO’s Scott Warren has created three tapas plates to pair with each wine.
