First, SOHO will pour a 2012 Iron Horse Unoaked Chardonnay. The wine is described, “[The nose offers] a complex blend of stone fruit, green pear and pineapple. [On the palate the wine offers] balanced acidity, grapefruit, Gravenstein apple and minerality.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2011 Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet Franc. Says the winemaker, “The 2011 Cabernet Franc has aromas of cassis, black cherry, blueberry, menthol and vanilla with flavors of plum, black cherry, vanilla, blueberry and cassis. This is not a heavy wine, but there is a broad mouthfeel with a rich texture and structured finish.”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2009 Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker says, “As with previous vintages our 2009 Sonoma County Cabernet shines aromatically with rich, dark fruit and beautifully integrated notes of oak. As it opens up, there are layers of red berries, rose petals, black cherries, leather, mocha and mint. The palate is sleek and concentrated with dark fruit, spice, cola and cedar. The finish is framed by bright acids and big, juicy tannins.”

SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, has created three tapas plates to pair with each Sonoma wine.
