SOHO Atlanta restaurant will continue to showcase the wines and flavors of Italy on flight night, Wednesday, March 12. The wines and tapas introduced Wednesday will be available through Tuesday, March 18.
First, SOHO will pour a 2010 Coppo Costebianche Langhe Chardonnay from Piedmont. Says Wine Enthusiast of the Chardonnay, “This elegant Chardonnay delivers dusty notes of crushed mineral, white peach, almond skin and honey. In the mouth, the wine is fine and silky.”
Next, SOHO will pour a 2008 Rodano Chianti Classico from Tuscany. The wine is described as, “A traditional Chianti Classico with earthy, red cherries and hints of tobacco. Medium-bodied with ample fruit on the palate and excellent structure.”
Finally, SOHO will pour a 2011 Tenuta Guado al Tasso “Il Bruciato” from Bolgheri. The winemaker describes the wine, “A nose of great intensity features red berry fruit and notes of sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is rich, ample on the attack and mid-palate and long and persistent on the finish and aftertaste.”
SOHO’s executive chef, Scott Warren, has created three tapas plates to pair with each Italian wine.
