First, SOHO will pour a 2012 Muga Blanco from Rioja, Spain. Says the winemaker, “[The wine is] powerful with pineapple, apple and peach aromas, all at a midway point between sharp and ripe fruit. In the background there are notes of white blossom, concluding with smooth, honeyed sensations.”

Next, SOHO will pour a 2011 Teso la Monja Romanico from Toro, Spain. The winemaker says of the wine, “A sensational red, it exhibits a dense purple color as well as a sweet perfume of lead pencil shavings, violets, licorice, blackberries and black currants. Full-bodied with a voluptuous texture and a long finish…”

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2009 Marques de Griñon Caliza from Dominio de Valdepusa. Says the winemaker, “Deep purple in color with ruby reflections, this wine shows alluring notes of lush raspberries and ripe black cherries with undertones of cinnamon and minerality.
