SOHO Atlanta will continue showcasing the wines and flavors of Sonoma, California, on flight night, Wednesday, March 23.
First, SOHO will pour a 2007 C. Donatiello Russian River Chardonnay from California's Russian River Valley. The Chardonnay offers notes of lemon curd and apricot on the nose. On the palate, the wine offers flavors of spiced apple, honey and nutmeg.
Next, SOHO will pour a 2007 Ottimino "Zinfinity" from Sonoma County, California. The "Zinfinity" is a blend of 89% Zinfandel and 11% Petite Syrah. The wine offers aromas of spicy black plum, ripe cherry, blackberry and bramble. The same flavors are found on the palate, along with hints of rasberry and cassis.
Finally, SOHO will pour a 2007 Schug Caberent from Sonoma County, California. The 2007 Schug Cabernet is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 5% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. On the palate, the Bordeaux-style blend offers currant and cherry flavors, as well as a touch of spicy oak.
