SOHO Atlanta continues to feature the wines of Sonoma, California, on flight night Wednesday, March 9.

First, SOHO will pour a 2008 Robert Stemmler Estate Chardonnay from Carneros, California. On the nose, the Estate Chardonnay features notes of Granny Smith apple, lemon, citrus blossom and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine offers tastes of melon, citrus and a long mineral finish.

Next, SOHO will pour a 2007 Lyeth Estate Meritage from Sonoma County, California. The Meritage is a Bordeaux-style blend of 79% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. On the palate, there are flavors of bing cherry and spice, along with a hint of blackberry and earth. The Meritage has a smooth finish.

Finally, SOHO will pour a 2005 Tin Barn Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County, California. The Cabernet Sauvignon offers cherry and clove flavors. The wine finishes with tastes of chocolate and toasty oak.

SOHO's executive chef, Joe Ahn, has prepared three tapas dishes to complement each Sonoma wine. The following will be featured on SOHO's menu until Wednesday, March 16.

Paired with: Rainbow trout and browned butter pecans over golden grits

2007 Lyeth Estate Meritage, Sonoma County, California
79% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot
Paired with: Roasted sausage stuffed Georgia quail and a bing cherry jus

2005 Tin Barn Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County, California
Cabernet with a small percentage of Merlot
Paired with: Braised beef enchilada and chocolate-scented mole sauce
