The fall theater season is beginning at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and two spectacular shows are on the calendar – the Atlanta Opera will present La Boheme (October 2, 5, 8, and 10) and the Atlanta Ballet will present Moulin Rouge (October 22-31). If you’re planning an evening out, we hope you’ll consider SOHO, located only 1.2 miles from the Cobb Energy Centre, for dining before or after a performance. SOHO will be offering a pre-fixe theater menu for guests enjoying a performance this season. For $28, diners can enjoy an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Here’s what SOHO will be serving up on the pre-fixe theater menu. For the first course, diners have a choice of the soup of the day, a house field green salad, or blackened mahi-mahi tacos. For the second course, guest can choose a herb roasted chicken breast served with tarragon mashed potatoes, green beans and a sweet onion sauce; SOHO’s Salmon Napoleon (salmon layered with roasted peppers, spinach and portabella mushrooms) served over tomato-basil risotto; or Burgundy-braised beef short ribs served with buttered noodles, spinach and tomato, and a natural reduction. Finally, for dessert, diners can choose between SOHO’s signature chocolate bread pudding or SOHO’s Belgian waffle served with almond toffee ice cream.
